Description: Bear Feels Sick, by Karma Wilson - What will his friends do to help?...... We will start our morning with a story time, then let the children develop their imaginary play skills by acting out the story using a variety of props. The children will also have the opportunity to make their own animal crafts to take home. We know that children are capable and curious, so by offering an environment filled with dramatic props we help provide opportunities for children to: Learn about themselves, their families and the world around them. (Belonging) Work out problems and fears. (Well Being) Think about the way others act, think and feel. (Belonging/Caring) Develop communication skills and expand self- expression. (Expression) Develop social relationships and encourage co-operation. (Engagement) Thus including all four foundations of How Does Learning Happen?
